Anthon Community Development Corporation

ACDC serves as a centralized resource in our community for planning, engaging community stakeholders and pursuing funding opportunities to enhance our community via economic and community development initiatives. 

We are an independent 501c3 non-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of community members and city leaders.

Our MISSION is to enhance economic and social opportunities for both urban and rural Anthon, Iowa.

ACDC collaborates to create new and expanded business opportunities in our rural community. Anthon contains retail, restaurant, medical services, and office space to meet the needs of local residents, provide job opportunities, and increase the economic base of the city.

ACDC works with the City of Anthon; state and federal agencies; and other partners to increase the availability of high quality affordable housing within the community.

ACDC knows that communities are more than just buildings, roads, and infrastructure. We serve a critical community organizing role by pulling together concerned citizens and local organizations to understand and address quality of life issues.
